Breast Cancer Awareness is an annual international health campaign that is organized by Ministry of Health with many NGOs such as Rebaz Foundation. KUST welcomes Dr. Kadhim Namiq to give a seminar to our students and staff to raise their awareness about breast cancer.

Dr. Kadhim F Namiq is from Kurdistan-Iraq. He studied MB ChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) at University of Sulaimani in 2010 and obtained M.Sc. in Clinical Oncology at the University of Birmingham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, UK. Dr Namiq studied Palliative Care Management Professional Diploma at the ASU, Jordan in 2016 and achieved the GCP certificate from Oxford University and Global Academy for Health Sciences in the same year. He currently works in Hiwa Cancer Hospital as a Senior Clinical Oncologist and a lecturer at the Sulaimani Polytechnic University.
