Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering at Komar University of Science and Technology will host a workshop on “Decorative Exposed Aggregate Concrete” by well-experienced engineer Ms. Bahar AbdulRahman on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 in Auditorium Hall, E Building.
Short Bio of the Speaker:
Bahar Abdulrahman is a civil engineer, working with the international humanitarian organisation as a team leader. Handling a bachelor degree in civil engineering from Salahaddin university 2015, with 2nd top student grade among 90 students in all stages. Achieved 3rd place of best student project in Iraq in ACI Iraq chapter competition for project of ” comparison between ACI-318 and EC2 for slabs, beams, and columns” which published in CI magazine at USA (concrete international magazine) and Zanko press magazine in Arbil and presented a seminar at Salahaddin university, also it was the second best project in civil engineering department exhibition.
Provided Learning seminar and CD about “introduction to civil 3d program” to students and lecturers at Salahaddin university. Attended two concrete trainings with Lafargeholcim company. Currently working on exposed aggregate concrete project under the supervision of Lafargeholcim company to present it in the engineering departments in different universities.
