Mr. Goran S. HamaFaraj, a faculty member of the Medical Laboratory Science Department, has recently authored a paper titled “Comment on: ‘Advanced approaches of the use of circRNAs as a replacement…’.” His paper explore cancer diseases, an area that has witnessed numerous attempts at treatment, ranging from basic drugs to sophisticated genetic therapies. In this study, the team employed a functional and potent genetic molecule known as circRNA. This minuscule RNA molecule plays a significant role in deactivating and halting the activities of cancer cells. The results showcased the influential role of this genetic molecule (circRNAs) as advanced approaches to surmount the challenges encountered by conventional cancer treatments. Consequently, the study serves as a crucial advancement in medical applications for cancer therapy.
