Komar Research Center (KRC) was established in 2014 with the aim to organize research matters within KUST. This center is multidisciplinary; its primary purpose is to conduct and support research on issues concerning Kurdistan and the region. Its research activities, topics, and method of research reflect KRC’s research objectives mentioned in the documents below.

KRC also organizes research activities within KUST including seminars, workshops, and conferences. Since its start, KRC is active in communicating with other educational and research institutions in Europe, Kurdistan, and Iraq.
