On Thursday, April 13th, 2017, Komar Research Center held a seminar on the academic debate with our guest speaker Mr. Brwa Omer, who is a Ph.D. student in civil engineering and published many articles and a book on academic debate. The aim of this seminar was to introduce with the importance of academic debate, important steps to “Debating Perfection”, constructing a good argument and oral communication skills for debating purposes.
The problem of academic debate in Kurdistan was discussed with the attendees. Attendees participated in the discussion that has followed the seminar.
