On Sunday, April 30th, 2017, Komar Research Center and Business department at KUST hosted a workshop on “Marketing from the Perspective of Customer”, with Mr. Sadiq Mohammed as the workshop instructor. He is a lecturer in the Business department at Komar Univesity of Science and Technology.
The workshop’s main goal is to explain the importance of training in the sector of marketing and customer service for small and medium-sized businesses. It was an attempt to make the audience acquainted with the relatively new perspective of viewing the position of the customer in the entire business operations. It started with introducing the 4Cs perspective of marketing: Customer, Cost, Convenience and Communications –in which the customer satisfaction is the central concept for the whole marketing and customer service operations.
A survey conducted in the local markets of Sulaimani was demonstrated through many charts that have been analyzed and discussed. The participants at the workshop were actively engaged in the discussions and giving positive feedback about the topics and ideas offered. The participants were awarded the certificate of attendance by the workshop instructor.
