Mr. Harez Rashid, a faculty member of the MLS Department, recently published a paper titled “An Investigation into the Potential Applications of Bio-Catalyst Metal Framework…”. The research investigates the use of orange peels (OP) to create a new material (BCMF) for removing dye from textile wastewater. The adsorption capacity of BCMF was significantly improved compared to raw orange peels after treatment with aluminum nitrate. BCMF achieved a remarkable 99.6% removal efficiency, suggesting its potential as a sustainable solution for textile wastewater treatment.
